Oracle Calendar Settings for NDSU
Oracle Calendar Version 10.1.2 will need to be configured when you install it. After you give the connection a "Give it a name", you should tab down to the SERVER box and key in exactly what you see here. Once you've keyed in the server name you can click on the LOOKUP button and the rest of the form should be filled in for you.
Just to make sure, the settings should appear as in the images below. Node should be filled-in as "101". Make sure your settings match those in the images below. To change a setting, click the arrow to the right of the box and click on the correct item when the drop down menu appears.

Software:
ITS has licensed Oracle Calendar from Oracle. We suggest that you download and install this new version of the client software. Download the latest Oracle Calendar client from the NDSU Software Downloads: https://its.ndsu.edu/software_downloads/
Help with downloading and installing the software is available from CEA Tech Support (231-7403 or ceatech@venus.ece.ndsu.nodak.edu). You can also refer to the tutorial on downloading McAfee - simply replace the McAfee file with what ever you want to download. (The McAfee tutorial is here.)
In order to USE this software, you must already have an older Corp Time account, or you must apply for a new Oracle Time account.
Upgrade Notes:
The procedure for upgrading the Oracle Calendar client is very similar to a new installation of the Oracle Calendar software. This version is preconfigured, so the settings are provided above for verification or troubleshooting.
Oracle Calendar 10.1.2 software looks and behaves very similarly to Oracle Calendar 9..x, but is significanly different that older versions (pre 9..x.)
- Oracle calendar will still be launched by navigating to All Programs->Oracle Calendar->Oracle Calendar in your Windows Start Menu...

- The icon for your Calendar client will continue to be a "blue calendar"...
- Any shortcuts you may have made to your older version of Oracle Calendar Client in the past may be broken. If you click the old icon and Calendar does not open, delete the old icon. You must create new shortcuts from the Oracle Calendar Start Menu item.
