ENGINEERING IN MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY SOCIETY

NDSU

STUDENT ORGANIZATION

Welcome!

What is Biomedical Engineering? It may not possible to answer this question in a concise manner. But that is just part of the beauty of it—probably why many of us in EMBS love it. Truthfully, it would be tiresome to start listing the multifarious applications biomedical engineers are involved in, and don't get me started on possible educational backgrounds of a typical biomedical engineer. Perhaps a better question to ask is what can I do now as biomedical-interested student, here at NDSU? If this is your question, then we would love to have you become a part of EMBS. At EMBS, we explore the vastness of biomedical engineering together by hosting professional speakers, organizing tours of biomedical industry, and disseminating information on local research at our monthly meetings. But we don't stop there—we reach out to our campus and community with our various service projects. Membership is open to all NDSU students. Come to our next meeting for more information.
