A broad range of projects and topics are currently under investigation by the Signal Processing and Communications group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Activities and interests include array processing, communications, digital signal processing, multi-rate signal processing, real-time signal processing, software defined radio, statistical signal processing, time-frequency analysis, and wireless communications. Recent projects include the hardware and software development of various electrochemical impedance spectrometry instruments and algorithm development for a pulse-doppler blood flowmeter. Recent funding sources include the Air Force, Army Research Laboratory, Gamry Inc., and the National Science Foundation.
