The main area of my research is in wireless ad hoc and sensor networks with a focus on
- Local algorithms for virtual backbone construction, efficient broadcasting, and topology control.
- Mobility management mechanisms that balance network reliability and efficiency.
- New routing and MAC paradigms exploiting advanced communication techniques such as smart antenna and cooperative communication.
